Craigslist Kayak Find

Last Sunday morning, before pulling myself out of bed, I hopped on Craigslist and did a  search for a kayak as I'd been wanting one for a few years now. I finally happened across the deal that I had been looking for. It was a 12. 75 foot 2003 model Old Town X Wave kayak that the previous owner was only asking $300 for.  I decided that it was worth it and made plans  to go ahead and pick it up. It came with a deckbag, paddle, and paddle float. It also has some thigh pads, which I've never seen of this type before. They are plastic and sit on the inside of the cockpit area, enclosing it in more. I got the registration updated the day I picked it up, but now I just need to find a good deal on a life vest and I'll be on my way to plenty of adventures on the water water this summer.
